When do I use the link, and when the video?
Use the link when the product already has a page: paste the URL and ciaopost takes the photos and the details straight off it. Film it when the page is not up yet, or when photos do not do it justice - the grain, the finish, the weight of the thing in your hand. Both end the same way: one post per channel, waiting for your OK.
Which platforms work?
Any public product page: Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Prestashop, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace - or your own custom shop. If the page is online and public, ciaopost can read it.
Do I need to say anything while I film?
No. Talk while you film and ciaopost uses your words. Stay quiet and it reads the clip itself - what is in the frames becomes the caption. Either way you check the caption and the hashtags before anything goes out.
Do the photos come from the listing?
Yes. ciaopost pulls the photos already in the listing and picks the strongest for each channel. You see the preview before anything goes out. That is the link route. Film the product instead and the post uses your own footage - no listing needed.
Can I change the caption before publishing?
Yes. The AI writes a caption and hashtags per channel; you can edit everything in the preview. What you write yourself goes out word for word.
What about happy customers?
That is a testimonial moment. Ask “will you do me a ciaopost?” - a customer picking up in store (or sending you a clip) talks for 60 seconds, signs consent digitally, and the video goes out on your channels. Real customers are the best-performing content a shop has.
Can you automate publishing our catalog?
Get in touch and let's talk - it's definitely doable, even if it's not a standard ciaopost feature at the moment.
